Balar Malar Tamil School is the pioneer Tamil school in Australia. Started in 1977, as week-end sessions organized by language-enthusiasts, it has now grown into 6 branches spread throughout NSW and Seven Hills Branch is one among them.

Balar Malar Tamil School operates under the auspices of New South Wales Federation of Community Language Schools (NSWFCLS) and is also a member of New South Wales Federation of Tamil Language Schools (NSWFTS)

The Seven Hills Balar Malar branch, started about 20 years ago has grown steadily since through the persistent effort of volunteers and well wishers. Currently we have about 450 students studying in our school, supported by a team of 60 well qualified teachers. We have a total of about 26 classes starting from Pre-Kindergarten up to year 12, catering for different levels and needs of our students.

Our other branches are located at Ashfield, Holsworthy, Newcastle, Quakers Hill, Minto and Hornsby.
