Balar Malar Team Shines at “Iniya Tamil Malai 2024” Event
We thank the Balar Malar team for their remarkable support and dedication to the FTS “Iniya Tamil Malai 2024” event. Their commitment truly contributed to the success of this memorable function.
The event commenced with a special inauguration, where the Balar Malar President Rajkumar, serving as the Chief Guest, had the honour of lighting the traditional lamp to signify the start of the festivities. This ceremonial moment highlighted the importance of Tamil culture and set a vibrant tone for the celebration.
We are also proud to announce that many Balar Malar teachers were honoured with long-term teaching awards, recognizing their dedication to fostering the Tamil language and culture within our community. We sincerely thank the NSW Federation of Tamil Schools for their ongoing support and encouragement of community language teachers, who play a vital role in preserving our heritage.
Our special acknowledgment goes to the Balar Malar members who took on the crucial task of registering students for the Ilango Vendanar exam awards. Their efforts helped streamline the organization of certificates and trophies, ensuring an orderly and respectful distribution process that honoured each student’s achievements.
Thanks to the following team members from Main Balar Malar and other school branches: BM Seven Hills, BM Online, BM Cherrybrook, and Holsworthy.
A highlight of the evening was the captivating dance performance by the BM Holsworthy Dance team, the “Balar Malar Jumka” girls. Their energetic and graceful performance was truly a standout moment, adding joy and colour to the event. We extend our appreciation to the talented choreographers and participants, Dhanya Muthusigappi and Tanuja Ramasamy, whose creativity and hard work made this performance unforgettable.
