Balar Malar Alumni Association
AIM
The Balar Malar Student Alumni Association aims to foster ongoing engagement, support, and collaboration between former and current students of Balar Malar Educational Association Inc.
OBJECTIVES: The core objectives include:
1. Cultural and Language Exchange: Facilitate the sharing of linguistic and cultural experiences between alumni and current students, ensuring the continued growth and appreciation of the Tamil language taught at the school.
2. Networking and Mentorship: Create opportunities for alumni to mentor current students, particularly those pursuing careers or advanced studies. Alumni can offer career guidance, advice, and internship opportunities.
3. Community Engagement: Build a strong sense of community among past and present students, encouraging collaboration on cultural projects, events, or initiatives that promote the language and heritage.
4. Continuing Education: Offer alumni access to workshops, language classes, and other educational resources to further their language proficiency or expand their cultural knowledge.
5. Support and Advocacy: Assist in promoting the school’s mission and goals, providing financial support or advocating for the school in the community.
6. Social and Professional Events: Organize events such as reunions, guest lectures, social gatherings, and language practice meetups to maintain alumni connections and engage in lifelong learning.
Ultimately, the Alumni Association is to maintain a vibrant, supportive network of alumni who contribute to the growth and success of both the Balar Malar school and its students, fostering a lasting connection to the language and community.
